Anthony Clarkson gave over twenty years of his life to the Federal Bureau of Investigation. As a decorated agent, his career gave him a sense of fulfillment. All of that changes when his career is suddenly and unexpectedly cut short. He is diagnosed with a cancer, which slowly invades his body, effectively robbing him at a chance for a future. Charles Hanson has worked with Anthony for most of his career. Throughout the years they have successfully closed many cases and brought numerous criminals to justice. As rewarding as this was, Charles suffers in silence. He has kept hidden a deep and unrelenting love for his partner for as long as he's known him. After several treatments of chemotherapy, Anthony is given the chance at an experimental treatment which may mean the difference between life and death. Charles joins him on the journey, but soon the two realize that what they are looking for isn't necessarily what they will find.
