Watching Blood and Soul

Richard paced the hallways. It wasn't what he was going to do that made it so difficult. It was that he hadn't been able to tell her everything. His cock was hard and throbbing at the thought of finally taking her where his coven would see, and he was the Alpha, but he didn't like the idea of surprising her. Richard shook his head, slightly exasperated at it all.
He knew that he was making Alice feel on edge, but her fear and worry seemed intoxicating with the way it made her heart pound. He always ended up getting distracted, angry at himself and leaving before he was able to figure out a way to tell her, but Alpha or not he had run out of time. He knew that he needed to keep his position and his billionaire status would go a long ways, but he also needed to seem strong.
He wasn't going to turn her, but he was going to do something that Alice might consider worse. The worst part to him was that he couldn't keep from throbbing at the idea of taking her right there in front of everyone, showing them that she was his and no one else's. He groaned as he finally opened up her door. Alice was there smiling, looking up at him with a red sundress on and some flats that he had given her.
It was tied around her neck, and was backless. She looked beautiful. Stunning even, and it only made Richard groan more as he looked at her. He knew that her clothing wouldn't be ruined if he got blood on it at least with the red color, though. She was bouncing on her heels, excited to finally get out of this room when she looked at Richard who only shook his head, trying not to seem as distant as he had been, but Alice could still tell something was wrong. She tried not to show her worry as she looked up at him with those wide eyes. She was so trusting that it hurt, and he shook his head again.
“Are we going?” She said, and Richard could only seem to nod as he wrapped a protective arm around her and took her out of the room for the first time in two weeks. It was exciting to Alice just to walk in the hallways, and when the doors opened up to show her a moonlit garden, she couldn't help but to grin from ear to ear.
