In a cruel act of revenge, Amber, a shark shifter, takes Penelope, a siren, out of the ocean, forcing her to be human. It's what she thinks the sirens deserve after years of going after her kind, but Penelope isn't like the others, and Amber isn't able to easily take back what she's done to her. They'll have to cooperate to get what they each want, but when that time comes, neither of them are ready.
