Monica Yale is deep in preparation for some huge changes. As school breaks for the holidays and she is engrossed in the move, she travels back to sunny Florida to celebrate with her family. Her long brown hair and hazel eyes, combined with a newfound confidence have found her with many a male caller, but her heart belongs to one man, eagerly awaiting her arrival in Panama Beach. But as she returns, she finds that the changed man isn't capturing her heart as he once had. With his new position at the bank and new apartment in a nicer part of town, Alex Yale is sure he will win over the love of his life forever. Despite his newfound misery, he vows to keep his promise to the beautiful woman that has stolen his heart and live on the straight and narrow path. Though his now neatly cut black hair and deep blue eyes still draw the woman in, he has resisted the urges and remained loyal through the distance. As Monica arrives on her third and final vacation to Panama Beach Florida, she finds a changed man eagerly awaiting her. But she can see the misery in his eyes and sense that the parts of him she fell in love with are rapidly falling away for sake of the life he is building to impress her. Will Alex let go of himself forever to keep her in his arms? Or will Monica give in to the now rapidly building wild side she never knew she had and join her love on the wrong side of the tracks? Will the differences between them finally end their love affair or will love find a way?
