Troubled Waters — Tiffany Aaron

Brian Rasmussen makes his living as a charter fisherman on the island of Tortula in the British Virgin Islands. Running a fishing boat might seem to be a strange occupation for a man who fears the water like Brian does, but though he vows never to swim in it again, he feels a connection to it that can never be broken. He walks into a bar one night looking for some hot sex and a little fun. What Brian finds changes his outlook on the world and challenges him to face the fear living within him.

Iman is a shifter and a member of Clan Najwa. Her clan works as messengers for the Terrans, a clandestine group of supernatural beings who struggle to keep the earth in balance. She's asked to investigate some claims coming out of the British Virgin Islands about over fishing and toxic dumping. As both a marine biologist and a shifter, she's uniquely qualified for the job. She heads to Tortula, expecting a routine trip. To her surprise, it's a mission far more dangerous than she planned; dangerous to her life and her heart.
