The few cities that survived the dead rising had found ways to close themselves off from the rest of the world, leaving the suburban sprawl to rot and ruin. Teenagers with little knowledge of the past and even less hope for the future have taken solace in cars, zombie slaying, and rock & roll. Gretchen, Fitz, and Ronnie are a death obsessed rockabilly gang in a souped up hotrod searching for a dose of sex and violence on the open road.
