The Mayan Prophecy — Susan Hart

End Game has FBI agent Lili Foxworthy and her husband, actor Peter von Rabenhorst, jetting off to a luxury jungle camp in the jungle, right in the center of the Yucatan peninsula. They are in dire need of a delayed honeymoon, a few weeks' vacation and research into Peter's upcoming new play in Santa Barbara, End Game -- The Mayan Prophecy. What they encounter, instead of rest, are immortal Mayan gods, a sacrifice, and miraculous healing properties, which leave them puzzled. Oh yes, amidst all of this is Peter's remarkable similarity, during his reenactments for tourists, to the Mayan god Quetzalcoatl or as Lili calls him, Q, who was reportedly blond and blue-eyed just like Peter.
