MANIPULATRIX n. a female manipulator, esp. one who uses sex and psychology to influence the behaviour of others. This is an erotic tale of pleasure and pain, domination and submission, benevolence and sadism and the female's cunning ability to manipulate the male. Imaginative, self-willed but stuck in dull domesticity, Christina longs for a bit of excitement in her life. Her forays into sexual misadventure begin with the snaring of an unwitting neighbour but there are others lurking in the background who don't want her having fun.
