The Heart's Search For Trouble

Chapter One

Laura sighed after getting off a long shift at the coffee shop. She knew that soon she'd probably be fired for someone prettier, younger, and a little quicker. She wasn't fresh out of high school anymore, and everyone was wondering why she wasn't in college. She had only taken the job to pay the rent, and it was starting to drive her crazy. It wasn't just the frustration at work that was starting to cause her to get depressed.

It was her sexual frustration building as well. Her vibrator didn't seem to be doing it anymore. She could get close, but most of the time Laura couldn't even go over the edge. When she did go over the edge, it was like nothing at all happened. She figured out that it must be because it was a physical response alone. There was nothing stimulating her, and it wasn't enough. She thought about her life, and it wasn't exciting.

Deciding to get dressed, Laura looked herself up and down in the mirror. It wasn't like she wasn't pretty. She had nice ample breasts, a C cup, large hips, and long legs. She knew that she could be pretty if she was out of the horrid uniform she was always forced to wear. That's why she went to her closet, shimming into something a little sexier before sighing, just a little.

All of her clothes seemed boring, and they were a little tighter around her hips than she remembered. She cursed her love handles and the little bit of weight she had gained. She tried to muster up her confidence, telling herself that she didn't look too bad. Laura smiled at herself in the mirror, telling herself it'd be fine and putting on a coat of red lipstick for courage before applying a sealer. She wasn't going to be smudging on any glasses tonight, and she blushed thinking of all the other things that she could be smearing it on as well.
