Kidnapped By A Sick Man: A mentally ill man, under the direction of his mother, kidnaps a young woman and it's only after one certain incident that his attitude towards her starts to change. Her faith is the only thing that enables her to survive the ordeal. Remembering My Father is a tragedy, but it showcases the triumph of the human spirit in overcoming great losses. Overwhelmed by despair when his farm is failing in 1913, a father shoots his wife and daughter, and then flees. This is the story of what happens after that. Man Cannot Live By Bread Alone, is an exceptionally moving story about tragedy and triumph in the Alaska Territory and what happens to one family isolated in the wilderness and threatened by a huge Kodiak bear, as the mother and two children huddle in their only partially completed log cabin and the father faces the terrifying wild animal. Their survival is in doubt but their faith in God is not shaken, as a mysterious stranger appears a few days after the incident. Heart Of Gold In The Yukon Territories, is an incredible story about faith and the love for God, amongst rough gold miners and one Mexican mining camp cook. It's tough up in the frozen north in 1898 but Maria the cook is determined to both feed the men there, and teach them about her faith and the bible and God. Along the way and facing many obstacles, she finds a strong love for herself in addition to God's love, as well as enriching the lives of all of the lost souls seeking fame and fortune and riches from the golden ore. Christian Lumberjack In The Old West, is a wonderful and emotional novella about one man's journey into life, and the old west, when he goes to Oregon to become a lumberjack. His story is told through a contemporary woman, a librarian in New York who finds most of the man's journal in the dusty reaches of the library basement. Through the pages of his story--one of inspiration and hope--he lives on and his words end up being a major factor in her own life, by convincing her to become both a better Christian, and a better human being.
