Sharing Carmen is all new to Brad. He's used to having things his way. Carmen is happy with the arrangement, but Kirk knows that if he and Brad don't iron things out soon, she'll catch on. When Carmen becomes ill from one of the native plants on planet Alpha, the men find that they have to work together to help her through the deadly illness. It takes both of them to handle the garden, the house, and her. Brad realizes that he will do anything to take care of her, and that means sharing. He accepts the importance of it and trusts Kirk to help him. With dangerous creatures, native plants, and the unknown, there is little time for jealousy.
