Located on the outskirts of Hemlock Woods, surrounded by a tall, iron fence, Gallo Hall welcomes no one. Literally. An out-of-towner moved into the abandoned mansion without ever showing his face, and that hasn't changed in the years since. Deliveries come and go from the gate, never beyond. There are no pictures of Luca Gallo on the internet. Some people think he's just a mysterious persona created to front a shady business. Others speculate that he's real, but hideously deformed. As Luca's virtual personal assistant for the past three years, I've spoken with him countless times. His manly voice is always the same—deliciously deep and rough, with an occasional, rumbling laugh that stirs unprofessional longings in the lowest part of my belly. His reclusiveness is nobody's business, certainly not mine, until he misses our scheduled business call. Then the next one. He's alone in that giant old house, and if something has happened to him, I want to help. There's no answer when I buzz from the locked gate, but where there's a will, there's a way. And my will is greater than any spike-topped fence. What I find once I'm inside the foreboding mansion is unlike anything I imagined. Luca Gallo is very real, and he's not deformed. He's also not a man. Now that I've entered the monster's lair, I don't know if he'll let me leave. And… I'm not sure that I want to. * A steamy, fated mates, beast romance with a guaranteed Happily Ever After *
