Among the crowd sat Walter Jenkins, a retired police detective known for his keen observational skills and penchant for solving mysteries. Flanked by his closest friends, Maggie and Tom, Walter watched solemnly as the minister delivered the eulogy.As the minister's voice resonated in the crisp autumn air, a sudden gust of wind swept through the crowd, rustling the colorful leaves that blanketed the ground, along with the dead redwood needles that often accompanied them.
