When Surya observes a human woman from his royal observatory in the Lyra Constellation, he is obsessed. The Galactic Federation of Planets has imposed the Earth Directive, forbidding all alien contact with humans on Earth. Frustrated by man's descent into evil, extraterrestrials abandoned long ago what was once their joyful creation.

Unlike his people, Surya senses a strong connection and longs to mingle with the sons and daughters of Earth. Jeopardizing his royal inheritance, along with the friend who helps him leave, he defies the Earth Directive and embarks on a forbidden journey.
