In a 15th century castle, a voice from the past calls out to Anya Peterson. She becomes obsessed by a man in a dream. Cesare Borgia, the famous bastard of a 15th century Pope, invades her life. While searching for Cesare, she accepts the theory that she is his reincarnated sister, Lucrezia, whom Cesare wants to possess again.
