Hayley Ward runs Rustic Inn, a quaint B&B that's lacking one thing, paying guests. When Sadie Sutton, president of Perfect Pairing spends some time there she knows she's found the ideal mate for Cole.

With a little coaxing, and as always a little magic spell here and there, she encourages Hayley to go look for a Christmas tree in the very lot that Cole is manning one snowy night.
