Perfect Murders, Ghosts and Demons — Susan Hart

Ten year veteran of the F.B.I., Agent Lili Foxworthy, was sent to Santa Barbara, California to investigate the case of a serial killer and one of the worst in the F.B.I.'s history. Only a few days into the case, Lili meets the brilliant and charismatic and German-born composer Lothar von Rabenhorst and after a few days Lili realizes that she has fallen irreversibly in love with the man. After the first case, Lili stays in Santa Barbara and she's launched into two more cases which will change her life forever.
