Alexander Sage wakes up inside a dreary hotel room with his memory incomplete and feeling the loss of something important in his anatomy, only to realize in the next few minutes that the missing memory is that of his life as an angel, and the missing part of him are his wings!
He has become a human, the most abhorrent punishment possible for angels, for questioning the Father's patience and understanding of what he considers the lesser of creations… too weak and always making mistakes, and always forgiven though unworthy of it. In order to understand his mistake, he has to shun his life as an angel and be one of the lesser creation - human beings.
And so, Alexander's journey starts here. What does he learn in the few years of being human before meeting the beautiful Elys Rhys and becoming the Dark Knight?
This is the beginning - the prequel to A Dark Knight Reborn, first book of THE FALLEN Collection.
