My Vampire's Heart

It hadn't been long since Alice decided to stay. She didn't know why, but it seemed better than leaving even if she didn't really leave this room. Richard visited her quite often. It was the highlight of her day, but that left Alice with a lot of waiting time as well. Alice decided to get up, looking through the closet that she had come to know. There was always something expensive looking and beautiful for her to wear. She sometimes couldn't help but to miss sweat pants, but she always felt good about herself in these clothes.
Even now she was in silk lingerie that was part see through and had a shimmer to the pearl pink that really set off her skin tone. It seemed like it was made for a queen, even though it had been explained to Alice that she was a consort. It was a better word than slut, so she'd take it, and she shook the negative thoughts away. All Alice wanted to do was feel better about wanting and liking this life, but sometimes it seemed like knowing what other's would think threatened to ruin her own happiness.
She decided to take a bath after pulling out a beautiful silk nightgown. Something told her that she wouldn't be going out tonight, and that was most nights, so she thought a nightgown would work just as well. It was a light baby powder blue with a jeweled top and it went to mid-thigh, falling just above the knee with a dipping neckline.
It was something that Alice would have only dreamed about owning previously. Alice sunk into the bubble bath that she had drawn, sighing in contentment as she lathered up her arms, running her fingers over delicately silky smooth skin. She couldn't help but to enjoy the luxury, and it was enough for her to dive into it.
Alice heard the door squeak open, but Alice didn't dare open her eyes. A smile curved over her lips as she sank deeper into the bubbly water, waiting for his touch. Even before Richard came over, it felt like every nerve she had was on fire, and when he touched it was like heaven.
