My Heart, My Soul and My Panther

Chapter One
He had called his assistant, and as he had made his way down to the lobby, sure enough the box he had asked for was there. Oliver shook his head. It was still crazy. He had only been able to take Sherry on one real date after a wild night, and he was already introducing her to his mother. Crazier yet, she had agreed to it all after he had paid her boss to give her the week off so that she wouldn't have to go to work.
She had looked at him funny when he asked her to just stay with him, but she looked just as reluctant to leave him as he was to let go of her so soon. He carried the box back up, taking the elevator and then going to his room. He didn't bother to knock. She was in the bath robe provided by the hotel, and it looked like Sherry had just gotten out of the shower. Sherry looked him over, shaking her head a little.
He was once again dressed perfectly, and there was a part of her that still believed that everything that was happening had to be some big dream. Yet here she was, in a beautiful suite with a billionaire that had just bought up half of her town. She wanted to laugh, but then she saw that he was holding something. Sherry quirked her brow at him teasingly, trying to ignore any nervousness about meeting his mother.
She knew she didn't have the right clothes, but it was all she had. He had helped her to run by her home yesterday to grab some essentials, but she had agreed to stay with him here for a while. He just smirked at her, handing the box to her, and her curiosity piqued even more. Sherry looked at him, shaking it playfully as his heart leaped at her antics.
“You know if it was breakable you would have ruined my gift.” He stated teasingly, but she only laughed, opening it up. Sherry was speechless.
“It's beautiful.” She said, taking out a peach dress that really did her complexion justice. He smiled as she put it up to herself in the mirror. She knew that it must be expensive, and there were even heels for her to wear with it.
