In Book Two of the series, Emma and Ross find themselves forced to spend more time together on a surprise family vacation. Their parents want them to get to know each other better and book a one week vacation at a ski resort. Emma is not happy about it, as she has been trying to stop sleeping with Ross and is still hurting after seeing him with another woman. Ross, on the other hand, had other plans for the week and is angry with Emma for ruining them.
