Love of My Life — Derek Adams

Billy and Wade, young men from opposite sides of the track, are deeply in love with one another. Their lives are perfect bliss -- and then they are split asunder by Wade's decision to marry rich girl Gloria Madden in order to assure himself a cushy job with her father's firm. Billy is devastated, but he is unable to move on. Instead he watches from the sidelines as Wade, bullied by his wife and his autocratic father-in-law, drinks himself into a stupor night after night at the country club where Billy works. Can Billy bridge the gap that has grown between the men over the years, or is the love of his life doomed to remain forever beyond his reach?
