It was supposed to be the best three weeks of her life.

Lark and her friends were celebrating college graduation by spending three weeks in the South American Amazon living with the local indigenous population. However, things took a turn for the worst when she and one of her friends are attacked their second night there, and instead of it being a life changing event, it became a life altering one.

Lark awakens to find herself changed, her instincts in overdrive, her emotions unstable and unable to control herself she flees into the forest where her remaining friends are taken from her violently before her very eyes, she kidnapped and brutalized for days until she escapes.

But it isn't over because the ones that did this to her will stop at nothing to get her back.
