When Dr. Kelly Bridges is stranded by a tire puncture on a back road in Wales, Detective Jason Carlisle happens by and stops to help her. Kelly is both scared and reticent, even when Jason shows her his ID. That's all right. Jason has a secret or two of his own.

There's a world that runs parallel to our own and only a few humans have the ability to access it. It's a world run by the Fae aristocracy; humans are generally not welcome. The Fae reality is traditional and conservative. Not much changes there. Children are rare so even half-human, half-Fae children have their place despite some full-Fae bigotry. Jason is one of those rare children, the son of a Fae aristocrat with a taste for human women.

The world of the Fae and the human world are about to meet--in Cardiff, Wales. For different reasons, Jason and Kelly find themselves at the center of Fae politics and magick. Jason and Kelly's growing attachment is burgeoning right in the center of a Fae storm. Hopefully, they won't get swept away.
