Jack Martin — Mallory Hall

Jack Martin is, in his own words, a butt-slut, until he meets Jeremy Ballard, the foreman on a different type of ranch. All the cowboys are gay. Well, almost all. A few of the straights take exception to working with gay cowboys, and they ambush a young man, putting him in the hospital. While investigating the crime, Jack backs off when he sees Jeremy hug the ranch manager. He's been cheated on before and doesn't intend to play the fool again. The ranch manager finally explains to Jack that he and Jeremy are brothers, not lovers, and the young man in the hospital is their nephew. Jack and Jeremy team up to solve the crime. Their success brings them together again. This time as life partners.
