Joy's hand accidentally grazed Derrick's crotch, and she felt his straining hard-on. Although a bit embarrassed, she coyly asked, “What are you thinking about?”

“Oh, just Bessie,” Derrick replied in his thickest southern drawl, “My favorite cow back home.”

Their laughter defused the awkward moment as Derrick leaned over and kissed Joy with some urgency.

Joy grabbed and squeezed Derrick's excitement and said, “Save this for tomorrow, okay?”

“Not sure I can… or that I want to,” Derrick replied with a devilish smile.

Joy just looked at the man she had fallen so completely in love with and considered how lucky she had been to meet him. For just a second, she thought about Brian. It had been the first time in a long time that she had thought of him.
