Full Circle — Diana Daneri

In the early hours of a cold December morning, with just a week until Christmas, Maggie is sitting on a train travelling towards Henley, about to begin working for a man she's never met, leaving behind her six year old son. Her husband has made a deal with this man in a hotel bar, a chance meeting on both of their parts. Maggie's physically abusive husband gets the money he needs to pay off a gambling debt and the man a much needed housekeeper for the next two years.
