Liam's scent invaded my head immediately, a pleasant, comforting mix of cigarettes, leather, and whiskey. I folded my arms around his neck, drawing him closer. Our kisses were tentative at first, cautious and probing. Then, I parted my lips, and Liam's tongue dove in, touching against mine. I thought I felt sparks pass through our bodies.



“Where's your bedroom?” Liam asked in a husky voice, his breath warm against my face.



I was shaking again. I pulled away from him. “This way.” My voice sounded foreign, floating outside of my body. I grabbed his hand and led the way before I had a chance to lose my nerve.
