Fielder's Choice — Gabrina Garza

After an intense start to their relationship, Ty and Jae have gone their separate ways. With weeks to go before the end of the baseball season, however, it's impossible for them to break off all contact.

While Ty enters a hot streak on the field, Jae hits a major slump. He can't concentrate, not when he's ninety feet from the man he loves. What happened between Jae and his supposed friend Jack reminds him too much of his last partner, the eccentric, intelligent and condescending Bryce. He refuses to ever get involved with someone he can't trust -- but is Ty different? No matter his desires, Jae can't seem to tell Ty how he feels and what he really wants.

Just when Jae hopes that maybe they can make their relationship work after all, an incident on the field could derail it completely. Has Jae wasted too much time? Or can an injury bring them together again?
