In a small quiet town Special Operations Executive and British secret agent/spy, Miss Danielle LeClaire and her mother Brigette, hide two escaped British Prisoners (one of whom is from New Zealand) within their home in a secret room behind a fire place in the living room. When the order comes Miss LeClaire is torn apart when her mother refuses to come with her over to England. Knowing that she will not see her mother again until after the war, she leaves her home brokenhearted, through a secret tunnel with the two POW's. They leave town and start making their way towards their extraction point. When word gets out that a massive escape has taken place at the nearby POW camp, Himmler is enraged. With new orders, the Gestapo become hell bent on executing any escaped prisoner that they find as well as any person who tires to help them in any way. The local forests are soon full of Nazi hunter forces as they try to locate people that shouldn't be in the area.
