Micah is a vampire. Madeline was just supposed to be another one of his victims;
however, things did not go quite the way he planned. Micah's vampirism is caused by a virus running rampant throughout his body. Madeline is immune to this virus, but not to the feelings she has for Micah. Will her love be enough to save him or will the virus be triumphant and destroy them both?
