After the introductions had been completed, a young woman was summoned to lead them to their rooms. She was quite young, Katherine thought, and she realized that she herself would possibly be the oldest of the students, her adventures into the world of submissive devotion having begun only recently, and she resigned herself to the fact. The young woman was dressed totally unlike the tutors. She wore a light, loose fitting, almost see-through gown with no bra, but the outline of a leather chastity belt was clearly visible through the flimsy fabric. Around her ankle, Katherine noticed she wore a thick, metal bracelet with a tiny, golden padlock and around her neck a black, velvet collar with a cut-out in the shape of a letter A at her throat.

The initial of her Master, Katherine surmised, and supposed that she too would receive the paraphernalia of devotion and submission. The thought excited her. Neither Madame Sworde nor even Dominic had ever hinted that she would have to wear the trappings of possession, and Katherine guessed with a mental shrug that her stay at the college would be full of surprises.
