Daughllin is the Ceannair De Gach, strongest of all. He has a responsibility to all shifters, not just one clan, all clans. When he is unable to focus on his work he talks Aisling's father into sending her to live with some of her family in Ireland, though not unprotected. He made sure she was protected from danger and young shifter males. He knew she would know who was responsible for her being sent away, just as he knew her anger would have to be appeased when she returned.

When her sixteen-year-old self, pushed Daughllin to far he had her sent away. Now eighteen she's back and ready to give him hell. She knows she's going to give in, you have no choice, when fate calls you listen. But she's going to make the big, bad Ceannair De Gach grovel first. It doesn't go as planned when Daughllin, a true alpha, puts her disobedience where it belongs, over his knees.

In her anger, she allowed him no contact in the two years she was away. So, he watched from the shadows as she grew up, waiting for her to come home to claim his mate. Too bad for him it doesn't quite go as he planned. In the two years, she was away she grew into a beautiful women, she also grew into her big temper and bull-headed stubbornness.

Their battle of wills is put on hold when the troublesome, neighboring Bear clan is in need of the Ceannair De Gach. A rogue shifter goes on the hunt and his prey is Aisling. Daughllin get to show why he is the strongest of all when he goes on the hunt for his stolen mate.
