As a teenager, Canute struggles to find his place among differing religions. An unexpected relationship with another Jomsviking, forbidden by the Christians, may force him to choose a god. The Lost Tales are ten short stories set in Viking Age England (and related areas). They introduce the characters of the novel, Eadric the Grasper, but each story stands alone.
