After murdering Perry, the fianc? of his daughter Carla, he calls his butler Sam to help him discard the body in the Silsby family mansion. Meanwhile on Maroon X, the Undertakers bury the bodies of their brothers who died in the accident in the gold mine. Hunter tells Carla the truth about the involvement of the Undertakers in the war against South Asia. He reveals that he carries the rain fever virus and that he has passed the virus onto her. Carla sees that she has been used as a pawn all along in Hunter's plan to blackmail her father William to pay the Undertakers ransom money that would help them to find a new home, and maybe a cure for rain fever. But Hunter repents. He tells Carla that he has fallen in love with her and that he doesn't want to be responsible for her death. He wants to atone for his mistake and offers to accompany her to Earth. Together, they decide to travel to Earth, to her family's biotech company Silsby, Inc. which created the rain fever virus, and request that the scientists extract the antibodies from his blood and develop a cure for the virus. But Argon would rather see Hunter dead than allow Carla to leave and the original plan to fail …
