Between Love & Hate — T.A. Chase

After hating his life for so long, Si Helms must learn to love himself before he can find someone else to give his heart.

Si Helms is rebuilding his life after spending more years than he could count high. But after getting out of jail and going to NA meetings, Si finds a way to become a man he can be proud of being. He gets help from his sponsor, Kip, but when Kip disappears, Si worries the man might have slipped back into his old habits.

Then he spies Kip on a movie poster, and is shocked to discover his NA sponsor is none other than Kipper James, former child star trying to make a come back. Wanting to talk to Kip, Si shows up at the movie premiere, hoping to talk to his friend.

Kipper James doesn't plan to backslide into the drugs that almost ruined his life. He fought hard to get back to where he could star in movies again. But while he's in Chicago for the premiere of his first movie in years, Kip plans on finding Si.

There's a connection between them that isn't the drugs. Kip wants to see if maybe it could be more than friendship.
