Angie Collins liked her library. It was spacious. It was like having your own private cavern filled with books that would answer any and every possible question.

When she was having a birthday drink with a friend, she watched and listened to a gloating man she immediately took a dislike to. The object of the sarcasm appeared tired and more than a little frustrated.
