All her life, Jewel Kessler was taught that family was the most important thing to life. Making memories and cherishing the ones you love is what matters most and being extremely wealthy was just the cherry on top. No one ever informed her, that being affluent would also make it harder to find someone to spend the rest of her life with. To love her, not just her possessions and bank account.
After a horrible incident and multiple awful relationships, Jewel decides to move away from her past and the only place she's ever called home in search for a better future. Leaving her best friend and old life behind she moves to a city where no one knows who she is, to begin her new journey.
While attempting to put her past behind her, she takes a reception job at a local doctor's office where her life transforms once again when a strikingly gorgeous man, Logan S. Morris steps off of the elevator and possibly into her heart. Logan's demanding and dominant ways are something that she is very familiar with and gets pleasure from as much as he does.
Jewel needs to decide if a relationship with Logan is something she wants to explore or if she should walk away before she falls too hard. He could very well destroy the new home she has made at the same time annihilate her heart and ruin her for all other men.
