Alpha — Teya Martin

Jacques is a lone alpha who doesn't want a mate or pack. He lives for his art and has closed his life to emotion. Meeting Toby, a cub on the verge of turning, he wants nothing to do with him. When Toby turns up at his home, begging for a week of his time, Jacques finds that, somehow, he can't refuse. The longer they're together, the more Jacques wants Toby and the more determined he is to push him away. When he succeeds, however, Jacques can't let go, realising almost too late that Toby is his mate. While he gets Toby back, things are strained, not helped by the issues from Jacques's scarred past and the family that Toby is running from. Then Toby is taken from him and Jacques will do anything to save him, even swallow his pride and call the only pack he trusts for help.
