When she returns to him he vows to give her everything her heart desires, knowing she is the only woman that can please him, but when he learns of her deceit he takes matters into his owns hands and deceives her in return. In this first volume of The Early Years they both fight to once again find and hold onto the happiness they are seeking in each other. Will they ever be together again after a century apart, or will their own demons get in the way of their happiness?
