Abracadabra. The word annoyed her, but she had long become used to it. If she ever met up with their parents, she'd demand an answer to why she and her twin, Astra, had been given such insane names.
But mostly she ignored people. That came with age, she thought usually once a day.
When a good friend asked her to investigate a problem on one of the cruise lines he owned, it felt like a good, fun idea.
Maybe her “skills” came with her name. She wasn't sure. Maybe she imagined it all. That thought made her laugh. She was nowhere near as good as Astra, but the ability to dream tomorrow was hers.
So preventing a problem was right up her alley.
